Porch renovation

The need to revamp our aging deck became increasingly apparent as portions began to give in to rot. With the gradual loss of a number of features and a growing concern about its structural integrity, it was time to take action.

The existing deck layout had minimal usable area - a lot of the space was used for stairways and walking area. We wanted to optimize for functionality, maximize views, and create a design that would complement the existing architecture of the house.  

After extensive brainstorming and design reviews - we settled on a design we were happy with! This image provides a glimpse of our envisioned transformation. Follow as I share our journey towards achieving this vision!
